Ceremonial Matcha
Ceremonial Matcha is made using tea leaves that have been shaded for at least 3 weeks. After harvest the initial process for making matcha is essentially the same as for making Gyokuro. However, the final step is quite different. Batches of tea leaves are selected by a Tea Master based on the flavor profile of each…imagine each batch representing one type of instrument in a string orchestra; each section may sound great on its own but when you put those sections together, you get a symphony!
These batches are then mixed and refrigerated, and only ground into matcha powder just before sale.
Contains approximately 30 to 60mg of caffeine per cup.
Ingredients: Gyokuro green tea powder.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, place away from light in an airtight container. Can be refrigerated.
Preparation: 1 tsp per 6 oz hot water (176ᴼF). Whisk vigorously to a foam. Drink as is or sweeten with honey. Enjoy!
