Clouds and Mist (Yun Wu)

Clouds & Mist (Yun Wu) One of China's traditional Imperial Tribute teas, this green tea gets its name from the clouds and mist surrounding the mountain peaks where it is grown. At such altitude the cloud cover serves a dual purpose: the mist keeps the tea plants hydrated and protects the plants from overexposure to direct sunlight. This excellent climate yields thick-leafed tea, rich with flavorful amino acids.

Yun Wu is made from mature whole leaves that are harvested from lower branches on the tea plant. The thicker leaves are rich with amino acids resulting in a brew that is robust and flavorful but never heavy.

Well-rounded and medium-bodied. Smoky, sweet, and vegetal with hints of citrus and roasted artichoke and a soft buttery finish. Brews golden yellow.

Contains approximately 30 to 60mg of caffeine per cup. Medium Caffeine level.

Ingredients: Organic green tea. Origin: Zhejiang Province, China

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, place away from light in an airtight container.

 Preparation: 1 tsp per 8 oz hot water (176ᴼF). Steep for 2-3 minutes. Enjoy!
