English Breakfast Tea
English Breakfast Tea is a classic black tea blend generally enjoyed throughout the morning. It is rumored to have originated during the reign of Queen Anne in the early 1700s. Tea leaves used to make English Breakfast tea are most commonly those cultivated in Assam, Ceylon, Darjeeling, and Kenya. In agreement with its namesake, it is most widely consumed in England, but enjoys extreme popularity in several other northern European countries as well.
English breakfast tea offers a bold, full-bodied flavor with slightly malty and sweet undertones.
