Scottish Breakfast
Scottish Breakfast Tea is the heartiest of the three historical ‘breakfast teas.’
According to folklore, to compensate for the soft salty drinking water common to the region, Scottish tea makers were faced with the task of making a particularly robust breakfast tea. This blend is a combination of leaves sourced from Assam and Ceylon or Assam and China.
Full-bodied, bold, and rich with a deep earthy flavor and an aroma reminiscent of dark, loamy forest.
Contains approximately 30 to 50mg of caffeine per cup.
Ingredients: fine black tea
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, place away from light in an airtight container.
Preparation: 1 tsp per 8 oz boiling water (212ᴼF). Steep for 5 minutes. Lighten with milk as desired. Enjoy!
